On private property, usually not. On a street, sidewalk or other public right of way, many towns do require one, and the rules differ across NM. Check with the Portales public works or permit office before the drop-off date.
Public events and many job sites call for accessible units. Federal standards generally ask that part of a cluster, and at least one unit, be accessible. Your Portales event permit or site contract may spell out exactly how many you need.
Usually, as long as the container is sized for the weight. Layers matter: two layers on a Portales roof can double the tonnage. Have your square count ready, and ask whether shingles need to stay separate from other debris where you are.
No. HBI Roll Off is the phone line that connects you with a local provider serving Portales. That provider handles delivery, service, pickup and billing, and availability, sizes and pricing vary by location.
Go by the job, not the house. A single bathroom or small cleanout in Portales often fits a 10 yard, a kitchen or several rooms of flooring a 15, and a mid-size reroof or full-floor remodel a 20. Going one size up usually costs less than a second haul.
Container size, rental length, what is going in it, how far the hauler drives and local landfill fees all play a part. Portales rates come from the provider who covers your address, so ask what weight is included and what an overage costs.
